The Jewish Museum of Australia will be open right throughout December andJanuary and is a great place to bring your holiday visitors or suggest to visiting acquaintances. You may find that a number of changes have taken place since your last visit!

Our latest permanent exhibition Calling Australia Home the history of Jewish settlement in Australia, is garnering a lot of praise for its stunning design, thematic logic and well chosen artefacts which vividly bring the stories of Australian Jewish history to life. Calling Australia Home also has engaging children’s activities embedded in the exhibition design, so bring the kids some time over the long summer break.

EPIC! 100 years of film & the Bible explores the fascination that filmmakers from all over the world have had with the Bible. From Australia to Belgium, USA to Mexico, EPIC! showcases the unique and fascinating journey of the Hebrew Bible through film. Showing until 3 February 2013.

For lovers of visual arts Bill Meyer’s dramatic Significant Journeys is an attraction in its own right. Showing from 2 December 2012 until 14 April 2013.
