Hilary Devey’s Women at the Top on BBC 2






An engaging documentary examining why so few women make it to the top in business.

Hilary Devey’s Women at the Top starts tomorrow (Thursday 6 September) at 9pm on BBC 2 (UK).  A colleague of mine Heather Jackson Founder of An Inspirational Journey is involved in this exciting programme’s direction and her organisation  is featured in the documentary which focuses on solutions to help women in their careers.

Other members of the programme include Andi Keeling, Director, Women’s Markets at Royal Bank of Scotland, Mel Foulds, HR Director at The Thinking Tree, Adeline Ginn, Legal Director at Angel Trains and Kirtsie Allerton, Associate at DLA Piper. An Inspirational Journey will be featured in part 2 of the series which is broadcast next Thursday 13 September at 9pm on BBC 2 (UK).

As all of you that know us both as an individual and organisation, we are committed to increasing the number of women at senior levels within corporate Australia and around the world and also promoting those that are already there. We are so pleased this programme will be able to promote successful women and showcase some inspiring role models.

  2. I can see that there may be issues with the balance in senior management, but surely the action should be to get the best PERSON in the jobs rather than focussing on getting women into roles?
    From “Women In Science and Engineering” schemes (positive discrimination against men) to the Minister for Women (no equivalent for men), there is a lack of balance.
